The thermal conductive silicone pad is made from ordinary silicone as the raw material. Then, through a series of special processes, the silicone sheet is transformed into a highly conductive silicone heat transfer pad, which mainly functions to transfer heat in high-temperature products.
Because silicone gel itself has the property of heat conduction, most silicone products basically have the function of heat conduction. However, the heat conduction performance varies for different silicone products. The finished heat-conductive silicone pads have excellent insulation, mechanical, sealing, and non-deformability properties.
Thermal conductive silicone pads can be applied in household appliances. For instance, in air conditioners, microwave ovens, heaters and other electrical appliances, large heat silicone sheets are required for heat dissipation; in the power industry, for example, in transformers, capacitors, resistors, inductors and other products, as long as they are components with high power, thermal conductive silicone pads are indispensable to disperse the heat of these components onto the casing; in the LED industry, thermal conductive silicone pads are also widely used. They can be used for the connection between the aluminum base plate and the heat sink in LED lighting products for heat dissipation; they can also be applied to PC, such as on the south bridge, north bridge, motherboard chips, graphics card chips and other parts of the motherboard, all of which require thermal transfer with thermal conductive silicone sheets.
